What happens after we book?

What if we have a mixed crowd with different ages and music tastes?

We suggest booking at least 6–10 months in advance, especially for popular dates and seasons. But if your event is coming up soon, reach out — we’ll do our best to make it happen!

How far in advance should we book?

Absolutely! You’ll get access to a planning portal where you can list your must-play and do-not-play songs. You can even share a Spotify playlist — we love bringing your music taste to life.

Can we request certain songs (or skip ones we don’t like)?

Yes! We normally work as a two-person team: your DJ handles the music, and your MC helps guide the flow, make announcements, and keep the energy up so you can relax and enjoy your party. We can customize your package, so if you only need one MC/DJ, we can still give you the event of your dreams!

Do you help run the event too?

We sure do! We bring all our own sound and lighting gear, and we’re happy to coordinate with your venue if they have specific requirements.

Do you bring your own equipment?

That’s our specialty! We’re great at blending music for all ages and backgrounds — from grandparents to Gen Z — so everyone feels included and has a great time.

What if we have a mixed crowd with different ages and music tastes?

Definitely. We’ll coordinate timing and make sure your toasts, shout-outs, and surprises go off without a hitch. Just tell us what’s important to you, and we’ll make it shine.

Can you help with speeches, toasts, or special moments?

Yes! We’ll schedule planning meetings to go over everything — your timeline, music, vibe, and any special details. We want you to feel totally confident and excited.

Will we meet before the event?

Totally. We can meet in person or online — whatever works best for your schedule.

Do you offer virtual meetings too?

You’ll get access to your own client portal where you can share details, make song requests, and keep everything organized. We’ll be with you every step of the way!

What happens after we book?

We do our best to match you with the perfect DJ/MC duo based on your vibe and event needs — but availability depends on your date. The earlier you book, the better chance you have to secure your preferred team!

Can we choose our DJ and MC?

Yes, we do! We proudly serve a wide area and love hitting the road for amazing events. Just a heads-up — depending on the location, there may be additional travel costs. For events in downtown Chicago, we also include a Chicago set-up fee due to venue and garage rates in the area and other incidentals that can be incurred in the city. We’ll always be upfront about any extras so there are no surprises!
