How do you make sure the music works for all students?

We recommend booking 6–10 months in advance, especially for high-demand dates like homecoming and prom. The earlier you reach out, the better chance we can lock in your date and start planning the fun!

How far in advance should we book our DJ & MC?

Absolutely. You’ll get access to a planning portal where you can share must-play and do-not-play songs. Plus, we always keep it school-appropriate while still delivering a high-energy, fun experience for students.

Can we request specific music (and avoid inappropriate songs)?

For most parties, we bring a two-person team — one DJ to keep the music flowing, and one MC to engage the crowd, run announcements, lead games or dances (if needed), and help manage the flow of the event. However, depending on your budget and size of the event, sometimes one MC/DJ works just as well. 

Will the DJ also be the MC?

Yes! We bring all our own professional gear — sound, lighting, and more. If your venue has specific requirements, no worries — we’re happy to coordinate directly with them.

Do you bring your own sound and lighting equipment?

We’re pros at reading the room and mixing in a wide range of clean, student-friendly hits across genres. Our goal is to keep the dance floor packed while respecting your school's guidelines and audience diversity.

How do you make sure the music works for all students?

Yes! Our MCs are great at engaging students — whether its leading games, making announcements, or hyping the crowd before a big moment. Just let us know what you need, and we’ll make it happen.

Can you help with announcements, games, or special activities?

Yes! We’ll schedule planning meetings to go over everything — your timeline, music, vibe, and any special details. We want you to feel totally confident and excited.

Will we meet before the event?

Totally. We can meet in person or online — whatever works best for your schedule.

Do you offer virtual meetings too?

You’ll get access to your own client portal where you can share details, make song requests, and keep everything organized. We’ll be with you every step of the way!

We do our best to match you with the perfect DJ/MC duo based on your vibe and event needs — but availability depends on your date. The earlier you book, the better chance you have to secure your preferred team!

Can we choose our DJ and MC?

Yes, we do! We proudly serve a wide area and love hitting the road for amazing events. Just a heads-up — depending on the location, there may be additional travel costs. For events in downtown Chicago, we also include a Chicago set-up fee due to venue and garage rates in the area and other incidentals that can be incurred in the city. We’ll always be upfront about any extras so there are no surprises!
